Well, both systems suffer from lack of good games. It really depends on the age-old question: Are you a hardcore gamer, or a casual gamer? The PS3 is a hardcore gaming system, for someone who's really into video games. The Wii is more of a casual gaming system, for someone who likes video games but doesn't want to get too enthralled. But the Wii is a lot cheaper, too.

Definetly the Wii because at the main menu it has a ton of extra features. It even shows you the weather!!!

Depends on what types of games you like. the WII is more fun kid like games and the PS3 is for a more mature gamer.
